During a week of freezing temperatures and Freezing Fog, we have had a lot of frost near our home. Nothing prepared me for the Winter Wonderland we saw in a neighboring town with Hoar Frost, otherwise called Radiation Frost. The very moist Freezing Fog had deposited a layer of white on everything that looked like snow, but wasn't. Come and take a look at some of these amazing photos.

I Couldn't Wait To Buy Seeds. With a new raised bed to plant out with Vegetable Seeds. I have been anxious to plan my vegetable beds and have been scouring Seed Catalogs. Hadn't yet received the one from Territorial Seeds, so I went online and bought. Do you think that Spring will start earlier now that I have my seeds?

It is a Frosty January Morning and I was able to get quite a few frosty pictures of my leaves and plants covered with the heavy frost that descended upon us with the freezing fog. Come and take a look.

Taking time Remembering 2012. This has been a truly incredible year with my trip of a lifetime to Italy and Venice, Florence and Rome. On to Israel to spend Passover with my son and some time being a tourist. And my nieces wedding and a trip to Yosemite in August. Come with me as I look back and see some of the wonderful sights.

Winter is here. Once the holidays are over and a peaceful winter replaces the shiny lights, how do we now maintain Winter Interest In The Garden. I just picked the Last Of The Roses here in my Zone 8 Garden right here in Oregon. Can you believe that? Yet here they are, a little beaten up, but budding and blooming.
