Spring Has Really Sprung

Wheee! Spring has really sprung.  After such dreary weather earlier, we have finally had some warm weather.  Two days ago even got to  90°.   More nice weather it’s on the way.

And this morning I was thrilled to see that my peas had started coming up.  Yes, it’s late to start peas, but that is the kind of spring we have had.

Elsewhere in my garden, I have a rhodie and an azalea blooming and a variety of other flowers.  I put some zucchini and cucumbers in Earth Boxes, and plan to plant some beans later in the season.  And we are already harvesting some of the lettuce we have in a pot.  Hoping for some decent produce this summer.

I hope that we have had the end of the chilly weather. I actually hear that we are supposed to have a warmer than usual summer.  I will believe that when I see it.  It will be nice to actually get Tomatoes this year after all.
