Plant Sale
Plant Sale

Happy May! This is the first Monday and I had a terrific weekend. Our Master Gardener Plant Sale was a whopping success, but exhausting. I worked both Friday and Saturday.

But yesterday, we went to the red Ridge Olive Mill to pick up our order of olive oil. Yes, olive trees grow in Oregon wine country. They also have a fabulous winery and nursery. Of course, I took photos. Above are a few.

More and more irises are beginning to bloom in my own garden as well as my alliums and the Rhodies have begun. Hope you enjoy. I used some of the Hipstamatic virtual lenses and film on my olive mill photos, but everything else is unedited.

  1. Oh, look at the wonderful irises! I must say that I’ve picked up some great, and unusual plants when my Master Gardener group has a plant sale.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.

    1. Judith,
Thanks and thanks for stopping. Working a plant sale is always a temptation. I was ordered not to buy any more plants. I happily ignored that and got a few new ones.

    1. Hi Kristi,

Thanks for coming by. I do love alliums. The tall ones are so pretty poking their heads above everything.

    1. Hi Villaroses,

Thanks and thanks for stopping by. My irises are just getting started, but should give me a month of beauty.

  2. Oh how I love seeing those gorgeous lilacs! Mine are just starting to bloom and sure are pretty. I love them because the were one of my sweet mother’s favorite plants. Glad your plant sale was a success. Wish I could’ve attended! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
